My understanding of this is that Mormon's "seal" their families together for eternity. I came across some of my family in the IGI that were sealed by a Mormon relative back in the 1960's, even though they weren't of the Mormon faith. It sort of made me mad because I thought this very presumptuous of that relative to include families in their faith practice who might not and probably did not want that done. I sure don't want it done with me because (without getting into a religious debate here) I don't believe in this doctrine. --------------------------------------------------------- >My mother seemed to think that the Mormons believed that they >could pray dead relatives into heaven, and that's why they put all of their >relatives in the IGI even the ones that were not Mormon.
