    3. That sounds great for those in Ohio, but I live in Georgia and would not have access to the information.  I can think of a better solution: Every program I have tried allows me to select which fields of the data I would like to export and which ones NOT to export.  If when you submit information to FTW (for example), you only include names, dates and marriage dates as well as your name and contact information, you will allow others to find their trees and contact you for details.  If you find a program that makes information private for the living, you can include all your names and only the minimum data needed for someone to learn if your tree is the one they are looking for. By doing this, you protect your work from being "copyrighted" by someone else, and still allow it to be used by those you desire to have it.  Also, if you sell your work, you are not violating copyright because your data contains a different set of information. I hope this is helpful I am interested in hearing comments about my opinion.
