Marcia, I think that F868114 is a microfilm number in the LDS collection. If you are near and LDS FHC go look that person up in the IGI files and it will list the film number, names of person submitting infomation, etc. I would guess that 1984 refers to the year it was submitted to the IGI. Hopes this helps. Pam J ---------- From: marcia collins[SMTP:mcollins@sfths.sft434.k12.ks.us] Sent: Tuesday, June 16, 1998 5:15 PM To: GenTips-L@rootsweb.com Subject: IGI FILES ? I have received a copy of a family group record that IS My BUSSELL family! It came to me in the mail, without a letter of WHO sent it! I thank whoever did from the bottom of my heart. I am sure they forgot to put in their name. Could someone answer a question about this sheet? At the top it has a number stamped on it F868114. Their is the name Dana Kay Daughtery Curnow, and under it, a name and address that I cannot read. it says at the bottom it is IGI 1984. This tells me that I am not alone in researching MY BUSSELL'S as someone has submitted inf. on the one's I research. How can I find who submitted this? I appreciate your input here, as I am lost.
