I wanted also to find ot about townships and I contacted the site manager at gnis because i figured that town ships should also be mapped and he advised the following. in the name field make the following entry: """fayette, township of"""" in the type of feature, select """civil""" the quotations are mine. I tried it looking for a township in ohio and it worked like a charm. thhttp://mapping.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html hope it works for you. If you have problems, send me the township name and the state and I will do it for you .jack burke crescent city calif At 03:38 PM 6/19/98 -0500, Shabbyacre@aol.com wrote: >I am having trouble relating townships to counties.
