I am looking for information on a location in Virginia called Summerset or Sommerset. I tried looking it up on the mapping information but it was not there. I am specifically looking for information on William Carter Childress who was allegedly half Cherokee and a member of the church in this town. The church burnt down and all records were lost. He was born around 1866 and he had a son named Houstan. Any leads would be appreciated. Cathi
