Hi Ardis: I would recommend you try and send a Form 180 to the National Personnel Records Center, 9700 Page Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132. If your brother is no longer in the service then his records should be there. My dad was in the Navy right after WWII and that is where his records are. However, assuming you and your brother grew up together, there probably won't be any information in his file that would be of interest to you from a genealogy perspective. If you are looking for his records from a perspective of his military history then they would be of use to you.
