    3. I use Eudora Lite for my e-mail program. It's a freeware program you can get at <http://eudora.qualcomm.com/eudoralight/>http://eudora.qualcomm.com/eudorali ght/ Eudora lets me edit the e-mails I get, which is the main reason I chose it over some other e-mail programs, so if there's something I want to keep, I cut out the parts I don't want, and change the subject line to something descriptive. I can then file the e-mail in one of the folders I have set up. I've got one for each family line, plus one for each ethnic group I'm researching, one where I save all my listserv instructions, one named "Web Sites to Visit", etc, etc, etc. I don't work for Eudora or anything, but I like the flexibility it gives me on filing my e-mails so well I'm thinking about popping for the $40 Pro version, which is, I'm sure, why they give out the Lite version for free. You can also demo the Pro version (which I did and I liked it really well), but after the free trial period, you can't use the Pro address book with the lite version--in other words, it's easy to move up from Lite to Pro, but messy moving back from Pro to Lite.
