My father came to the U.S. at age four from Finland (through Canada, I think??) about 1919 with two sisters and his parents. I have heard that they would have gone to England first. Is that true for that time period? >From what port would they most likely leave England? Is it likely that all of the passengers leaving England would be from Finland or a mixture of people from many places? Their last name was changed from Wiisanen to Carlson.
