Hi - someone posted the name of Ison and stated they knew nothing more on this family. I don't know if this will be of help but on FTM in the GenealogyLibrary, I found several Ison's in Greene, Fountain, Monroe Co., Indiana birth and marriage records. Partial Ison genealogy dated 1650-1982 in the book "Genealogies by the Library of Congress since 1986 Sect. #1." Edward Ison in "Emigrant Ancestors." T.M. Ison, E.J. Ison, Thomas Ison in "Georgia Salt ListsRabun Worth Counties." The name was also spelled Isei, Isham, Isom, Izon. If the person who posted would like to contact me, I'll be happy to try and help.
