Hi people. I am new at this, so here is what I have.  There is a book, Rideouts in America, Golda Soffe is the author, it is the entire line of one of my grandparents.  I go to the library five hours away but they are like total jerks. They wont even let you take the book out of the research room to photo copy it.  It is 684 pages hardbound. How can I get a copy of this book.  There wasnt a publisher listed in the front but had her address (she is dead yikes) as somewhere in Salt Lake City. I have the exact address but why would I write if she is dead. QUESTION NO 2: My father went to a foster home when he was 4 months old. He has very little information on his family.  Most of them are passed away. The one sister he has that I know of doesnt know much.  He is from Huxley Texas but all their records burnt in a fire years ago. Oh no now what I say!!  Well she knew her moms name but not where she was born or died.  He supposedly has 20 brothers and sisters, not all by the same dad but she still was a very busy woman.  *smile* I only have one son so I know I dont take after that side of the family. (Thank goodness) So where do I start with him. Is there a place I can check about foster children from way back in 1935.
