Does anyone know what is the latest Census that is available and from where? I know of the 1880 Census on CD's through LDS. I thought the latest Census was available after 50 years from when it was taken, so shouldn't the 1950 Census now be available? The government takes the Census, and then what do they do with the results? I would love someone to explain to me how this Census taking works. Who gets it first? Thanks much for your help. Jan, The 1920 census is the latest one released; 1930 is due in 2002. Census results are not released until 72 years after enumeration.
