I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for Postal Addresses for ancestery.com and also library.com to be able to send membership dues in to them. I don't have a credit card (don't like them) and would very much like to become a member of these sites. All help is appreciated. Thanks Denise
On occassion I have received genealogical messages where the words will go on and on and on until I have held the right arrow down forever. Then I have to go back and start all over again. This is usually when I want to save the information for myself. I know that this is not a forum for me to learn internet messages, but I would just like to know how to change things so that I might be able to print the information in full. When I try to print, it only prints half the message and I cannot figure out how to print the other half. Sorry if I have offended anyone. I appreciate your attention and hope to have the problem solved. Midge Corcoran in Oregon
I aam trying to trace my wife's father's ancestry. He died in 1938, when she was six. His father we have learned came from Nova Scotia. I cannot seem to find a source for tracing roots in Nova Scotia. Could you suggest a source or a starting point? Thank you for your time, Bill Mahoney.

Todd, a good way to leave messages at a grave site is put the message in a glass canning jar and put the lid on tight, and bury it part way in the ground. Be sure to use a pen that the ink will not fade. Be sure to let the caretaker of the cemetery know so he will be careful when mowing. There is a grave marked by this way not far from where we live here in Oklahoma. It has been ther for years. Ellen
To RFS: DEU must stand for Deutchland--that's German for Germany. Billie
I THINK it stands for Duersch or German.

Hello all! I was just looking at the migration rout of my relative on rootweb. I know that pru is Prussia, but what does DEU stand for? It is before St. Louis. Thanks! RFS
A while ago someone on this list (I think) posted a poem or saying which they left on the graves of ancestors. It was left along with contact information in hopes that others researching the same line or family might be able to get in touch with the person leaving the "note." I'd like to find out exactly what the text of this "note" is along with ideas on containers/packaging to keep each note in place and protected from the elements. Thanks for your help. Regards, Todd

Sorry to use this forum, but someone contacted me through instant messaging, indicating they had connected to me through GenTips -- noted my surname search of ROSS and wanted additional information about my ROSS ancestors. Whoever it was, please email me privately as I no longer have your email address. Thanks Hope [email protected]
I came across a search engine that looks thru Polish websites. You type in your surname and it returns websites that have your name listed. After a few emails, I actually found a cousin living in the same town my grandmother was born in back in 1887. I have other responses that look very promising. It helped me tremendously !! <A HREF="http://infoseek.icm.edu.pl/">Polski Infoseek</A> http://infoseek.icm.edu.pl/ Good Luck ! Patty
Dear Mr. Davis, We are a good second place to start. You need to see what you have first, then start your search. Do you know the names of your grandparents? Do you know the names of their parents? Who has the family Bible? Start with you, Fill in all of your data....Birth, Baptism, Marriage, Children, then go back to your parents. Fill in their data...Birth, Baptism, Mothers maiden name, Marriage, all childrens information, etc. get together everything that you know first. Then start your search . You also asked for help with out giving any specific information..Where did your Davis family come from? That way people can point you in the best direction for your search. There are a lot of helpful people out there, hope we can be too! Happy Searching, Diane Eaton Hacker
I dont know if Im in the right area? if Im not please turn me in the right direction. I believe Im the last male in the Davis family and woud like to find any info. on past family members and present. Can you help me out?
I know that this is a common surname but I was wondering if anyone has come across any by the name of Elwood or Forrest Jones born Mass. 1912-1918. Resided in New Jeresy and Long Island New York? Thanks Cindy
Hi, I though I'd pass on this URL for ALL SEARCH. It has many genealogy databases accessible from this site. All you have to do is scroll down the page to the search of your choice, fill in the blanks and there you go. Yes, all of these databases are available at their individual URLs, but this is quick and easy. Some of these sites I hadn't visited in a while and because they were already there, staring me in the face, I tried them using my newest information and got unexpected (positive) results. I'm even thinking of making this page my home page when ever I access the internet. http://www.pacshome.com/All_Search/Genealogy.html Thanks Barb Thomas [email protected]
