>On a sour note.... I was absolutely appalled at one of the emails she >received from a list member. I am posting it here below, but will not post >who it was from. -------------snip-----------snip-----------snip-------------- I thank you for publishing this letter Cheryl, I too am appalled......Hopefully your mother can take comfort from the fact that this is only one person on this usually neat list of people......I hope! As one of the people who puts a lot of time into trying to help others I fail to understand this attitude. I can only assume it to be a bitter & greedy person. I do an average of 30 or 40 lookups a week on this list, (usually for non-regular posters) but I would seriously doubt if I get 2 or three acknowledgements a week. Dont get me wrong, I do them of my own accord & quite happily but I am usually left wondering, 'did my email get through' or 'I wonder if it was right' or 'what happened next' !!!! As for wondering if it should be public, well I reckon that a sore has to be cleaned out, aired then healed else it will just fester........and that would be sad. The majority on this list are here for the purpose of helping or being helped so dont let this sour person put you off. :-) Helen Tangimoana
