So many people have asked me about the Ohio County History surname index that I thought I would send my answer to the group. Sorry if you are hearing more about this than you want to hear. For those of you in Indiana, the Indiana State Library has an index to county histories on microfiche. But as to Ohio, the index is on a set of 64 microfilms. My understanding is that it covers at least one county history for each county. I suggest a SASE to the Ohio Historical Society at 1982 Velma Av, Columbus, OH 43211. Request: 1) information on interlibrary loan and forms. 2) Information on the rolls numbers for the Ohio County History Surname Index 3) list of books indexed. June
