Maybe some of you do not realize it, but when you get a message like the snowball one, and are angered by it jamming up your e-mail and decide to respond by telling everyone to stop sending personal non-genealogical messages to the list, you are doing the very same thing by causing another response to your own letter. Then it just goes on and on and you end up causing more mail than the original snowball!!!! I usually just delete these things and go on and it does happen on almost every list from time to time. It seems that someone always has to have the last word. And yes I realize I have just contributed to it by sending my own message. -----Original Message----- From: call-me@mail.swbell.net <call-me@mail.swbell.net> To: GenSwap-L@rootsweb.com <GenSwap-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Thursday, December 10, 1998 1:03 AM Subject: Re: snowballs >GEEZ PEOPLE, GIVE IT A REST WILL YA????
