Hi Guys I have been on this mailing list for a while, and I, for one, have no problems with any of the stuff being chatted about, but I digress. I have offered to do look ups on ships and a great many people sent me requests, which is what I offered. But for a lot of the requests I have not had a chance to either do the look up or respond to the original request. This, hopefully, doesn't mean that I am being rude, it simply means that, like everyone else these days, life is so hectic that I simply haven't had the chance. So my advice, Belinda, is be patient, you never know if someone has filed your request for later action. Family tree research is obsessional but it should be a joy, it shouldn't be bringing you to tears. Relax and trust in the universe that the right information will reach you at the right time. All the best from Down Under Cheers Elly -----Original Message----- From: PeculiarWeb Internet Designs <peculiar@peculiarweb.com> To: GenSwap-L@rootsweb.com <GenSwap-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, 2 October 1998 2:53 Subject: Re: RUDE VOLUNTEERS/requests >I apologize to all, first :) I think I've been replying >personally to the people on the list, instead of sending >a reply-all.
