    3. We found these extracts in a book of Tad EVANS newspaper clippings that concern our ancestor, George KING. Questions: 1. was George alive when these levies were made? 2. where would we find records that George did/did not pay off these levies that we are viewing as fines/debts? 3. what would cause George to have had so many levies against him? 4. what is the meaning of -----"for use of James BLACK"? Barbara Mac ** *Pg. 64 of book* *Tuesday, May 4, 1819* Will be sold at the market-house in the town of Eatonton, on the first Tuesday in June next the following property, viz: 50 acres land, lying on the waters of Rush Creek levied on as the property of John Trammil, to satisfy *George King*.
