While I applaud your desire to see that your mother's research is made as accessible as possible, may I also suggest that you make sure that you produce several hard-copies of your end product. These will most likely still be around and useful when the computer files are dead and unreadable, especially if you do not want to commit yourself to migrating the files as time goes by, and make sure that copies are placed in appropriate repositories.
