You'll have to check the state from which he served or lived, because these aren't part of the Federal Government's collection at NARA. If he lived in an officially Union state and fought for the Confederacy, no, he didn't get a pension. (Union states didn't pay Confederate Pensions.) Cheryl singhals@erols.com
