Dave - Check out this page at NARA which describes the WWI draft cards, and how to go about finding the ones you need. http://www.archives.gov/research_room/genealogy/military/wwi_draft_registration_cards.html This should be one long link, so if it separates, you'll have to cut and paste it. Ancestry only has a portion of the draft cards, so that may be why your dad is not included. Also in those NARA pages are instructions for sending for military records. Unfortunately, many were destroyed by a fire in the 1970's, but there may be something available. Lisa llepore@juno.com
