C. P. Three sources of info for WW I US military personnel: 1. Submit a written request to the National Personnel Records Center. See: <http://www.archives.gov/facilities/mo/st_louis/military_personnel_records.html> 2. Call the local office of Veterans Affairs. 3. Find out which agency in your state has custody of the WW I Service Records Abstracts and have them do a search for your father's. It's often the State Archives or State Library.
