Is that why they left? Wife born in PA with father from Russia (or Poland) and mother from Hungary: Did they meet on the ship on the way over? Did they meet and marry in the US? Either way, their marriage record may be here in the states. That's just a start. I don't have any knowledge of what the strike-through of Hungarian language and the superposition of Magyar might mean. Hope that helps, or at least suggests something useful.
