I attempted to post this on soc.genealogy.surnames.britain yesterday. I don't know if it appeared as I still can't read it. Can anyone advise me what I should do please? I am using newsgroup server, news1.on.sympatico.ca. "My Outlook Express sees this group but tells me, wrongly I am sure, that there are no messages in it. I can get into "britain" and "misc" groups.
