Try Family Origins, you can open two databases in separate windows and view them side by side and compare. You can drag and drop when you find something you want to add to your main data base. I recommend using the search window for this because it has most of the information in just one window in that mode. You get name, birth date, death, marriage date, parents, spouses and siblings and children with dates. You can download a trial version at http://www.formalsoft.com It is not expensive, about $30.
