    3. SPAM? Wasn't someone looking for one of these a while back? I'll bet you don't even do genealogy, you just read the posts hoping to find spammers so you can tattle! 3. I had requested information on acquiring microfiche readers through various newsgroups and lists that I subscribe to. I asked in particular about the merits or not of hand held readers. It was a genuine general genealogy question. I believe this post was most likely in reference to my original query. If the guy is advertising his own ebay auction here, he's spamming and is inviolation of eBay's TOS, to boot. Oh - and anyone who thinks Bob doesn't do genealogy isn't paying attention, he's one of the most knowledgeable folks around. It just boggles my mind that people would spam their own eBay auctions; after all, anyone looking for that item, is already checking there, and the only potential they have by doing it, is to offend their possible bidders who don't appreciate spam. Your crankiness seems to be directed at the wrong party.
