You can usually get these on microfilm via Inter-Library Loan at a public library. If an undertaker is named and is still in business, his records (if kept) will probably list family. You can also check for a Will and Probate/Administration files at the Monroe County Surrogates Court, however this tends to be very expensive by mail in most of NY State - better to hire a local researcher.
