I do have a collection of San Francisco city directories and I checked the directories for both 1909 and 1910 and did not find any listing of the surname Courade. In the 1912 city directory I did find a Jean M. Courrade, laundry worker, residing at 1861 Union Street, and a Henri Courtade, laundry worker, residing at 2131 Fillmore Street. [Both address are about a half dozen blocks from my house] If you have additional information such as first names, ages, birthplaces, children's names, and any other additional information it will make it easier to identify your family. I will be visiting the library that has the census index in a few and I could look them up, if you wish. Gerry Wright San Francisco
I am looking for Jeanne M. Courade. The Jean M. Courrade sounds like it could be her just misspelled. She came to US from France in 1909. On the ships manifest it said that she was going to reside with her brothers Louis and Fabien Courade who lived at 29 Auborn Ave. San Fran., Ca. I know that by 1916 she was married to Frederick Louis Larsen and they had a boy Thomas Frederick Larsen. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks so much. no junk
