Let me add that it's not necessary to set & unset the Generic/Text printer as the *systemwide* printer "Default". That can all be handled within PAF itself and would effect only PAF and no other printing jobs. e.g. When in the "Books" tab of reports, click "Page Setup" and you can click on "Printer" when that screen comes up. Use the scroll-arrow there to choose your "Default" printer. That will set the default for PAF, but won't effect any other printing HTH Bob
