Thanks, Eric. I've never gotten involved with networking with a PC under Windows. The only way I could do as you suggest was to Start\Settings\Printers and select Properties of my HP LJ, Details tab and click on Capture Port. I gave it the path to Adobe 5.1 reader but was told I wasn't logged on to the Network so didn't have authority. I also tried to install a Generic Printer but couldn't because I don't have the original Win98SE installation disk, only the HP System Recovery CD. This is a whole new challenge, but I'll try to do one or the other.
