I am looking for information about a family Knowles from the UK. It is for my husband I am looking and it is his father's family we are looking for. We have the following details: Garnet Knowles was born in 1908, we believe somewhere in Kent, United Kingdom. He was married at one point and, we believe, of the Catholic faith. During the mid 1940's he is believed to have divorced his wife to marry again to an Edith McConnochie from Leith outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. We are looking for relatives to Garnet Knowles as his son wishes to find his family. Does anyone have the information I am looking for? I suspect the most important details are his name - Garnet Knowles - and the fact that the family were Catholic as I believe most Knowles families belong to CofE.
