Hi, As far as I know, the "Perry" surname comes from the "Poirier" root in Quebec. As for which branch of the family it's from, I can't help since there were about 5 or 6 independent sources (from acadian source and otherwise). If ever you come across "Poirier dit Desloges" in your ancestry, I could be of help. They lived mostly in the West island of Montreal and some migrated in Ontario and further more in the States.
