Dear All, Thank you for all you many interesting enquires, I shall get round to them ASAP I should have time to take a few more next. so If you've got an Probate that you think just might provide that missing clue, drop me an e:mail and I'll see what can be done. I shall need 1. Name of the Testator (That's the person who has made the will) 2. Approx area 3. date of Testators death (approx) One or two pionts from the last post. Post 1858 means AFTER 1858 that is between 1858 and the present I have no way of getting information on the wills of people who are still alive These are provate documents untill they are ADMITTED to PROBATE and can then be found in the Probate Registry. I can not get information about SCOTTISH WILLS as they are dealt with seperatly from Edinburgh. As I am trying to do this so as to maximise the use of my time while at the probate registry and fitting these in while I am doing my own stuff I am not able to under take searches such as Find and list all the Bloggs wills between 1858 and present. I you need someone to do that it would take them days and they would need to be paid!!! best wishes Jules
