I just posted the following message to alt.genealogy and it did not show up there. Apparaently my postings to soc.genealogy.misc do show up, so I am posting it here also. Does anyone have any idea what might be happening here? I found my father's WWI draft card which not only had his 17-year-old signature (didn't change much during his life) but also had that of my grandfather (his father) who was the draft Registrar! And I didn't know that! Henry
Hi Henry The headers to that one aren't showing up so there's no clue that way. I assume you got that copy from your "sent" folder? It may be the case that you aren't really subscribed to alt.genealogy due to data corruption in an OE file. Have you already tried unsubscribing and then subscribing again? Does this problem show up with any other groups such as alt.test? Bob Bluegene wrote: > > I just posted the following message to alt.genealogy and it did not > show up there.
