    1. Family tree - protocol for diagramming
    2. What are the rules about drawing out a family tree? For example, you put an equals sign between two married people. Thanks

Why not just use a Genealogy program to do this as most software is able to do this for you. If you do not have any Genealogy software I recommend that you try one of the free programs such as either Personal Ancestral File ( PAF ) of Legacy. PAF came be download from the Latter Day Saints ( LDS )Family History site and Legacy can be download from Legacyfamilytree.com after registering online, a access code will be sent to you. If you wish to carry on by Hand then the plus sign + is used to denote children for each marriage, of course you put their names in, you can also use numbers as well. It is your choice. David.
