    3. 1880 is the year he came to the US. He would have been about 19 at that time. I'm not sure but he probably couldn't apply for citizenship until he was 21. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. And the naturalization process takes several years, so he probably didn't get his citizenship until at least 7 years after he came here.
