Hi, I believe that you are searching for Modliborz. Modlibo'rz, pron. [moh dlee boozh] is located in Poland's Kujawy region at 5226 1910. Distance 78.4 miles W from Warszawa, couple of miles North from Lubien' Kujawski. During the interwar period this locality is identified as situated within the Klo'bka gmina (parish), Wloclawek powiat (district), Warszawa Province. Parish Klo'bka [klooh bkah] was the rural administrative centre of the following villages: Ge,cielewo, Klubskie Budy, Kurowo, Nowy Mlyn and Unislawice. Modliborz was not a village and this may explain your difficulties with its localization. Modliborz is falling under categoriey of "maja,tek" which can be translated into English as the homestead or the land property. This region was mostly agricultural as the majority of Poland lands, and Klo'bka was the centre of the grain milling and brick kiln factory. Mrs. Anna Loga is shown in 1929 Poland Business Directory as main landowner of Modliborz (311 morg property). Hello! Recently when looking for my family in Russia I discovered people in Habarovsk, who probably are my cousins. This is complicated so I just tell that the ONLY thing to know it is to check if their grandfather was brother of mt grandgrandfather - there is no documents however and all I could do is to find if he was fighting in 10th "Intergermanland's" hussars regiment, and "missed" at war with Japan in 1904 year near Ussurisk. Man's surname was Rytel (written also Ryttel or Ritter) BUT if he decided to use another name in army (he was from Polish-Russian family) he could use name van Kreiter after his mother or even perhaps Lavrov - after first husband of his mother, the tzar's chamberlain. In regiment he was officer and hide himself in faraway Russia near 1904 after a battle (he was wounded and rescued by his Kossack's friend, then he changed belief and name, and married Kossack's woman with 4 children - it's all complicated. I know only that after marriage his name was Piotr (Peter). It is important to know - if his name BEFORE was Alexander then he is brother of my grandgrandfather. There is no documents so the only clue is to find soldier named Alexander Rytel (or Kreiter or Lavrov) among oficcers in 10th "intergermanland's" regiment of hussars. Summarising - I need a list of soldiers who were enrolled to 10th intergermandland's regiment of hussars. I do not live in Russia so I cannot check in archives. Is it possible to find it anywhere else? Please help me, I will be very thankful! regards! I am looking for two books. Geschlechterfolgen Treichel - a two volume family history self published by Ferdinand Traichel in 1968 & 1970. They are no longer in print. I've looked at some census and other records and think I can put you back a couple more generations. Joel Benjamin Rowland was a son of Sandford and Rachel Watson Rowland. They were from Floyd Co, KY. In 1870 they were living in Meeker Co, MN along with Rachel's parents Jonathan and Elizabeth Jarrell Watson. Jonathan Watson married Elizabeth Jarrell 26 May 1843 in Floyd Co, KY. Sandford Rowland was a son of Daniel R. and Emily Lemaster Rowland. He's shown in their family in the 1860 Floyd Co, KY census. Daniel was born ca 1800 in VA according to the census. He married Emily Lemaster on 5 Dec 1841. It must have been a second marriage since he has children shown in the household that are older. I'm sending census images to show some of these connections. It needs to be proven with other sources if you can find them.
