They were both born in Ireland and had a son Bartholomew (Bart, Bert, Burt) born somewhere in Mass. in late 1880--too late for the census of that year. We do not know if Charles and Ellen married in US or IRE. Charles and Ellen must have died in the mid 1880s as their children (we have no more names) were supposedly raised by a relative in Nebraska. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to learn more about Charles and Ellen. The names are too common to pin down an immigration, especially since we do not have an approximate birth year for either of them. Thank you.
