Re: State Hospital Records My great grandfather also died in Medfield State Hospital...I had to write to a judge of probate records in that county and send proof on my relation and they granted me his records...Of course that was a week before the HIPPA law went into effect so not sure now if they would grant it...But it was great big big file even with two photos.
