My grandfather, Alexander Alfred (or vice versa) Trainer b: 6/5/1904 - 12/20/1992 was said to be born in Everett, MA. He later married my grandmother in 1930 I believe in PA but cut himself off from his family and would not speak of them. Supposedly he has a twin sister. There is talk that his parents were named Samuel and Catherine but I have not been able to find any facts that validate this. He does not show in any census prior to 1940. HELP! Any suggestions would be helpful. I have ordered the orginial application that he submitted in PA for his SSN#. I haven't been able to order a death certificate yet. It is in Florida. The only surviving relatives are my father and 2 of my father's brothers. Neither of which have any further information.
