I see her on censuses from 1910 onward, but it has her married name only and age, not DOB. She died in 1977, and left no paper records. She only orally told the family when and where she was born (Lowell, MA 12/25/1896). She lived most of her life on Staten Island, NY, but I don't know when she arrived there or when/where she married. I searched thousands of records from Lowell, but came up empty. Without knowing the true, correct spelling of her maiden name and the real town she was born in, I am at a standstill. Her husband and children are deceased. I am going to try to get a record from Social Security - because she HAD TO have provided SOMETHING to prove who she was in order to collect benefits, right?
