Hello, I'd just like to remind researchers that there is a GAVIN List. I adopted it about a year or so ago, but I just checked and there are less than 25 subscribers. If anyone is interested, this is the information page: http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/index/surname/g/gavin.html My (now) husband's great-grandparents were a GAVIN / WHELAN couple who were born in County Galway, Ireland, ~1860. They both came to Massachusetts ~1883 and married in Waltham, MA, in 1884. They had many children there. I'd love to find descendants of that family.
