I am still looking for marriage of my great-aunt Dina Gregoire (Dinah / Deena) and Louis-Henri-Tharee Vincent (alias John T. Vincent) in the Lowell area. Many of you have been wonderfully helpful with suggestions. I've pinned down that Dina was still living in Canada, unmarried, up to 1883 and immigrated to Lowell sometime that year. The marriage definitely was NOT in Canada, so it had to be in the Lowell areabetween 1883 and 1886. Still searching! But now I'm working on the rest of the family... The 1910 census says Dina had 9 children, of whom 3 were living The 1920 census has 10 children, of whom 3 were living I finally got in touch with the grandson of one of the 3 that lived. However he knows next to nothing about his grandmother, or his father's siblings. Actually, he is thrilled to get what I have. Using various sites, I've managed to find approx. dates of birth and names for 7 of the 9 or 10. Could someone verify these for me with Mass Vitals? I tried the Lowell Vitals, but it doesn't handle pre-1900 data. Would deaths of small infants have been recorded? All would have died before 1910 except the three with a star (*) Corey Vincent, born 2 Sept 1886 - Not living at the 1910 census *Annais or Annie Vincent, born 6 Dec 1888 Henri Vincent, born around May 1st, 1890 Antoine Vincent, born 23 Sept 1891 Bertha Vincent, born 20 Nov 1895 *Oscar Vincent, born 8 Aug 1898 *Edward Vincent, born 01 Aug 1902 (the only one verified) The 10th child would have been born between the two censuses... (Unless she realized that she had miscounted earlier.) There are 2 gaps where another child might appear, bet. 1891-1895, and 1898-1903 and possibly another bet. 1895-1898. That would account for 10. Any help greatly appreciated Sister Therese Gregoire _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® has ever-growing storage!
