Cornelius was born about 1799 in either New York or NH. He lived most of his adult life in Charlestown, MA. There are many George's in the family tree it seems (Cornelius' father, son and grandson were all Georges). George H. Riblet was born in New York. He married Georgiana White Sep. 3, 1852. Guessing he was born in 1833/4. At some point they divorced and she remarried. Their son changed his last name in 1878 from George William Riblet to George William Gleason, the surname of his step-father. I have not been able to find out anything on the early Riblets.
