    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: jjcaffrey Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.massachusetts.unknown/7361.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Kim, Another vote for NY, but in a funny way... son Francis married Caroline Kendall in Nashua, NH in 1878 --> http://tinyurl.com/3wg9ggy. If you page forward, and view the back of the card you'll see that the father is Cornelius and he is listed as born in NY. This is weird though, since Francis is listed as born in, and residing in NY. In addition, he already appears to be married to Caroline (Carrie) in the 1870 Census, living in Lynn, MA. Either they were pretending to be married, or had been married by a state and then remarried in the church later on. They are also in Lynn in 1880. I don't know where Frank was in 1860, but every other census lists him as born in MA! Good luck with the cemetery search. This might help --> http://www.cityofboston.gov/Parks/HBGI/visiting.asp. Other surrounding sites to consider are Woodlawn in Everett, Mount Auburn in Cambridge, Forest Hills in JP, etc. (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gchung/cemetery.htm) As you pointed out with George H's record, death records are questionable since the information comes from informants that might not exactly know the information. Cemetery records fall into that same category. John Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
