Hello, I think I posted a few days ago about the MEDEIROS family I'm helping a relative with. I first started researching in 2005, but stopped after a while. I kept thinking that I had found the names of the children of Philip and Mary (MIRANDA) MEDEIROS. It was just this morning I found my old posting at http://www.genforum.com/ The 1900 census had: Mrs. Mary MEDEIROS, b1859 Portugal, 40, as a widow (mig. ~1889) with her were children: Maria, b1879 Christina, b1882 Edward, b1888 Aruba, b1890 Manual, b1891 Frank, b1895 She should have had 2 older children, and I found one had married, Mrs. Elizabeth (MEDEIROS) JESSE, b1874. So, there might have been another son or daughter, b~1876. I'm not sure they were all still alive in 1920. Possibly some of the older sons fought in WW I. Does anyone know if the older daughters, Maria and Christina MEDEIROS married? By the way, the 1910 census showed that Mary's sister, Alice MIRANDA, 29 and single, was living with her. That's all for this morning. I'll do more searching during the week. I hope everyone enjoys their .. religious .. holidays this week and next week. Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S.
