I have to second Richard Trask, especially if you are interested in the Salem Witchscare and colonial times. Richard is an expert on the trials and one of the founders of the Danvers (Ma) alarm list (revolutionary fighting unit). It really depends on what you seek... what towns from which your ancestors might have come. If you are interested in Beverly, one of the first towns to break away from Salem, theres a lot of information, and an awesome volunteer named Dan Driscoll, at the city clerk's office.
