I thought it was a great idea too. Then I received it to read that his birth year was off by 5 years & he listed his place of birth as Pittsburgh, PA! HA! I ordered a PA Birth Certificate and no records were found. He may not have had one but I'm back to the drawing board. It did confirm what I've been told that his dad's name was Samuel Fred Trainer and mother Catharine Campbell. Still coming up empty in all censuses linked to those parents. I love the challenge!
