My ancestors returned to the UK sometime between 1855 and 1861 but as they were UK citizens it would appear that the UK records will not catch them. Is there anywhere else I can check? Would UK citizens have had passports at this time? Their youngest daughter was born in Boston in 1854, would she therefore be considered a UK or US citizen......? Any guidance would be appreciated!
