Author: juliamc31 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.massachusetts.unknown/7533/mb.ashx Message Board Post: my ggranfather was john tobin, barleyhill, cork born 1875, he died in 1929. he married mary ann dunne, ballindangan, mitchelstown, co cork born 1888. they had julia(Sheila)born 1919 & thomas born 1923, he died 1929. the story is that there was two other children, john who died of tb as a child & another girl who was taken to the usa by an aunt. if this is true i would really like to get in touch with her. my grandmother julia married william dawson and they had 9 children, she said that she was in contact with her sister up until the second world war.
