Stanley and Nellie had a son, Llewellyn Mitchell, born in Fitchburg on April, 1912 (the month after Stanley's half sister Elizabeth was born :) and Stanley Lowell junior, born in Athol on May 16, 1914. Most of what follows is more than you want to know I'm sure, but it's info I discovered when trying to locate Stanley in 1910. I also think I located Nellie in the 1910 census... In the 1911 Fitchburg city directory, Stanley is living at the home of Lowell H Stearns at 26 Gage. Then in 1912, Stanley is listed at 27 Linden. There is a Lowell Stearns listed in the 1920 Directory: 1920 United States Federal Census about Lowell H Stearns Name: Lowell H Stearns Home in 1920: Fitchburg Ward 5, Worcester, Massachusetts Age: 60 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1860 Birthplace: Vermont Relation to Head of House: Self (Head) [Head] Spouse's Name: Millicent P Stearns Father's Birth Place: Massachusetts Mother's Birth Place: Vermont Marital Status: Married Race: White Sex: Male Home owned: Own Able to read: Yes Able to Write: Yes Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Lowell H Stearns 60 Millicent P Stearns 42 Elizabeth P Stearns 7 >From familysearch.org and americanancestors.org, it appears that Lowell was first married in 1879 in Gilsum, NH, to Mary E Hayward; in 1886 in Claremont, NH, to Mattie Elenor Mitchell; in 1903 in Dedham, MA, to Ada P. Dix Stearns (his 3rd marriage, her second (divorced, Stearns is her married name); and the spouse in 1920 is listed as Millicent.(From the birth record of Elizabeth, Millicent's family name was Pierce. Ada remarried in 1913, so I presume that she and Lowell divorced, although her 3rd marriage record lists her as Widowed, and only twice married.) Lowell does appear in the 1909 Natick directory. I looked there since Ada and he were both living in Natick when they married in 1903.
